NCP candidate accused of attempted murder by running over his car, BNP candidate says, 'trying to go viral'

An allegation of attempted murder by running over with a vehicle has been brought against Ali Naser Khan, the 11-party alliance candidate in the Gazipur-2 (Gazipur city and Tongi) parliamentary constituency. A written complaint has been submitted to the district returning officer in connection with the incident. The complaint also claims that Al Amin, member secretary of the NCP’s Gazipur district unit, was injured in the same incident.

National Citizens Party (NCP) leader shot, attempted murder in motorcycle sales trap

A Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) leader was shot in Gazipur. The incident took place at around 12 noon on Thursday (January 8) in the Mogarkhal area of Ward No. 17 of Gazipur city. The target of the shooting is said to be Habib Chowdhury, a member of the Gazipur Metropolitan Committee of NCP. Fortunately, the bullet did not hit him and he escaped unhurt.

Kashimpur jail escape murder case accused arrested for life

The members of RAB-01 Gazipur Porabari camp have arrested the accused Iqbal Hossain (38) who was sentenced to life in the case of absconding murder from Kashimpur High Security Central Jail in Gazipur. He is the son of doctor Hasen Ali of Barmi village of Barmi union of Sripur upazila. He was arrested from Rajendrapur area of Sripur upazila at 6:30 pm on Tuesday (September 17). 3 out of 5 people killed in road accidents are from Narsingdi
