Awami League candidate in ad-hoc committee in Sreepur created public anger

Public anger has been caused by the announcement of the candidature of Awami League-follower former Chhatra League leader Shahiduzzaman Salim as a donor member of Mulaid Uttarpara Government Primary School of Sreepur Upazila of Gazipur.
It has been found out that Shahiduzzaman Salim was an active member of Telihati union branch of Bangladesh Chhatra League in 2015-2017. Also earlier, a picture of him participating in the meeting march has spread on social media. Involvement in Chhatra League was confirmed by Shahiduzzaman Salim, and the then president and general secretary. This raises the question as to why Awami Dosor has submitted documents declaring his candidacy as a donor member of the organization even after he ran away.
On October 24, Abeda Akhtar, the head teacher of Mulaid Government Primary School, submitted the papers of two candidates to the office of the upazila district officer. The paper contains the names of Shahiduzzaman Salim (Chatra League leader) and Sadiqul Islam (Chatra Dal leader). Sharafat Ali, one of the donors of that organization, supported Sadiqul Islam in a paper signed by eight members of the member's family.
Rumors are being heard that some persons named in the name of BNP are involved in making Shahiduzzaman Salim a candidate. However, the responsible leaders and activists of BNP said that no person of the autocratic Awami League can be in the ad hoc committee. Necessary measures will be taken in this regard.
After the fall of the autocratic Awami League government, the president of the board of directors of government and private schools is absconding. Most of the presidents were office bearers of Awami League and former bureaucrats and involved in corruption. In the absence of the Board of Directors, there is a kind of chaos in the educational institutions. Complications arise over who will sign the salary bill.
On the whole, on August 20, the interim government removed the president of the governing body and managing committee of all the educational institutions of the country.
Upazila Education Officer Fatema Nasreen said that no one complained or lobbied to me.
