Politics over the World Cup? Trump threatens to change the World Cup venue

The World Cup is going to be held in the United States next year. But before that, US President Donald Trump has given a warning about hosting the match. He has made it clear that the World Cup matches will not be held in cities in the United States that he considers "dangerous" or "controlled by the far-left". If necessary, the venue will be moved to another city.
The 23rd FIFA World Cup will be held in 16 cities in the United States, Mexico and Canada from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Of these, FIFA has designated 11 cities in the United States as the venues. According to the schedule, six matches are scheduled to be held at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco and six at Lumen Field in Seattle. But mentioning the names of these two venues, Trump said,
"There are far-leftists in these cities who don't know what they are doing. If a city seems even slightly dangerous, we will not allow the match to be held there. If necessary, we will move it to another city. I hope that doesn't happen."
The United States is playing the biggest role among the World Cup host countries. In such a situation, Trump's warning has created a big controversy. In particular, San Francisco and Seattle are considered safe by local authorities, but Trump has raised questions about them.
Meanwhile, even though there is no World Cup match in Chicago, Trump has threatened to send federal troops there. He claims that he wants to take this step to organize the global football tournament smoothly and successfully.
The World Cup draw will be held in the US capital, Washington, DC on December 5. Then FIFA will announce the final schedule.
