Bangladeshi actress Prarthana Fardin Dighi, who began her career as a child artist and later established herself as a leading actress, has shared her thoughts on marriage and relationships during a recent podcast appearance.

When asked about her marriage plans, especially in light of discussions surrounding other celebrities settling down, Dighi said she has no intention of getting married anytime soon.

"I’m a bridesmaid, not a bride right now," she said with a smile, adding that she is not ready to start married life yet.

Responding to a question about when she plans to get married, the actress revealed that she does not expect to tie the knot within the next five to seven years.

Speaking about the qualities she hopes to find in her future life partner, Dighi said she would prefer someone who is employed, honest, courageous, and willing to admit mistakes and apologize when necessary.

The actress also addressed questions about her personal relationships, stating that she has never been in a romantic relationship. According to Dighi, despite having opportunities, she consciously chose not to pursue dating.

Explaining the reason, she said she grew up under strict family supervision. During her school years, her daily life was closely monitored, and she did not even use a personal mobile phone until after completing her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.

Dighi added that growing up in such a disciplined environment left her with little opportunity or mindset to become involved in a romantic relationship.

Over the years, the actress has been linked to several personalities, including content creator Towhid Afridi and Muhaimin Rashid. However, she reiterated that those relationships were purely friendships and dismissed previous dating rumors as baseless.

For now, Dighi says her primary focus remains on building her acting career rather than planning for marriage.
