BNP to hold prayers and milads across the country on Khaleda Zia's birthday on August 15

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will organize prayers and milads across the country on August 15 to mark the 81st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson late Begum Khaleda Zia.

The program was announced in a press release signed by the party's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

The release said that on Saturday (August 15), milads and prayers will be held at BNP party offices or mosques across the country. The central program in Dhaka will be held at 11 am at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan.

Leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates and associate organizations have been urged to celebrate the program with due dignity.

Khaleda Zia was born in 1946

Khaleda Zia was born on August 15, 1946. She played an important role in Bangladeshi politics for a long time and served as the country's Prime Minister three times.

He served as the Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) until his death. He died on December 30 last year.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, BNP has made preparations to hold nationwide prayers and Milad Mahfils as well as memorial programs at various levels.
