Human chain in Rajivpur demanding implementation of 10th grade

A human chain was held in Rajivpur of Kurigram to demand the implementation of 10th grade by assistant teachers of government primary schools. On Saturday (September 28) morning, an hour-long human chain was organized by the assistant teachers of the Rajibpur Upazila primary school in the Upazila Parishad premises despite the hostile weather.
Md. Shafiqul Islam, head teacher of Rajibpur Munsipara Government Primary School, Abu Taher Siddique, assistant teacher of Sazaier Char Government Primary School, Sabina Khatun, assistant teacher of Rajibpur Girls Government Primary School, West Rajibpur Government Primary School spoke under the direction of Md. Aminul Islam, assistant teacher of Gabbapur Government Primary School. School Assistant Teacher Shah Alam etc.
Speakers at Manabbandhan said that there is no alternative to 10th grade to improve the quality of life and achieve dignity. Logical Demands of Assistant Teachers in Grade 10 Primary Schools. The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has recently proposed to increase the pay scale for primary assistant teachers from 13th grade to 12th grade.
This is a farce, we reject this proposal. The qualification required for recruitment to the post of Assistant Teacher in Government Primary School is equivalent to graduation, while the pay grade is 13th. Why can't primary teachers who are appointed after graduation get the tenth grade?
The speakers in the human chain also said that due to the salary scale of 2015 and the rising cost of goods, teachers are constantly facing various obstacles to maintain a normal standard of living from the 13th grade. This can be partially resolved by raising the pay scale of primary assistant teachers to 10th grade.
Upazila government primary school teachers participated in human bonding.
