Youth Dal leader beat the officer for 1 rupee

Upazila Youth Dal leader Yunus Ali Lovelu beat the field officer of the poverty alleviation project for one rupee in Hatibandha of Lalmonirhat. Such a beating happened at the poverty alleviation project office inside Hatibandha Upazila Parishad on Sunday afternoon.
It is known that Yunus Ali Lovelu, the senior vice-president of Hatibandha Upazila Jubo Dal, took a loan of 30,000 from the poverty alleviation project last year and applied for a new loan of 50,000 after paying it. But Ganesh Chandra Burman, Field Officer of the Poverty Alleviation Project, expressed his inability to give any additional loan beyond Rs 40,000. And this started the argument between the two. At one point, Yunus Ali Lovelu asked to withdraw the savings without taking a loan. After the accounting, the office owes 39 rupees to Yunus Ali Lovelu. Yunus Ali Lovelu gave a note of 50 rupees in the hand of the officer to pay 39 rupees and wanted the remaining 11 rupees back. But as field officer Ganesh Chandra did not have 1 taka, he returned 10 taka instead of 11 taka. Yunus Ali started an argument with the field officer for Rs. At one point, Yunus Ali Lovelu got angry and started beating Field Officer Ganesh Chandra Burman by his shirt collar.
Ganesh Chandra Barman claimed that Lovelu Bhai demanded a loan of Rs 50,000 from me. But I have no rules to pay so much money. I wanted to pay him 40 thousand rupees. He got angry at this. Later he told me that he would not take the loan. Since I didn't have 1 taka, I gave 10 taka instead of 11 taka. Don't go if he doesn't pay the remaining 1 rupee. At one point he beat me.
Yunus Ali Lovelu said, I did not beat him. Just pushed a little. That officer is making false allegations against me.
Poverty alleviation office officer Ismat Ara Khanam said, I have made a GD in Hatibandha police station in this regard, and the work will be done according to the instructions given by my superior officer.
In this regard, Lalmonirhat district youth party president VP Anisur Rahman Anis said that Yunus Ali Lovelu was expelled from the party long ago and BNP or any of its affiliates will not take responsibility for any of his misdeeds.
When the local upazila BNP member secretary Afzal Hossain Mia spoke about the matter, he tactfully avoided the matter.
Hatibandha Upazila Nirbahi Officer Atiqul Islam said, I have heard about the incident of beating, I have asked them to take legal action.
