About coach Mushtaq, Mehdi Hasan Miraj told the media on Monday, 'I am working with Mushtaq Ahmed for the first time. I like it a lot, as a person who gives a lot of motivational talks and tries to support the players. Tried to be with the players in bad times. Love these things.'
Mushtaq Ahmed came to Dhaka to work with the Bangladesh team in April this year. Then he was with the Tigers in the T20 World Cup team. In the recent series against Pakistan, this spin bowling coach was in the dressing room of the Bangladesh team.
After winning the Pakistan series, everyone in the team is mentally boosted. Miraj said, 'Everyone is very happy, in good shape. You can never play well if you are not mentally free. Can't play alone with all the pressure. That's why everyone needs help - from players to coaches.
'I can't plan ahead of a trip, it gets stressful. Even before the Pakistan series, I did not think that I will be the man of the series. I was trying to play well for the team. High expectations will lead to stress. Trying to be normal.'- He added.
