Inu arrested

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSAD) President and former Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu has been arrested by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). There are several cases against him. He may be arrested in any of these cases.
On Monday (August 26) was arrested from a house in Uttara of the capital. A senior officer of Dhaka Metropolitan Intelligence Police confirmed the arrest to Dhaka Post.
After the fall of the Awami League government on August 5, several cases have been filed against Inu in different parts of the country.
Earlier on Thursday (August 22), Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested Rashed Khan Menon, President of Bangladesh Workers Party and former Member of Parliament, from Gulshan in the capital.
Incidentally, Jasad president Hasanul Haque Inu, a member of the Awami League-led 14 party, has been elected as a member of Parliament three times in a row with the boat symbol. He was once in charge of information minister of the government.
