Viva of the 44th BCS begins on September 1

The oral examination or viva of candidates who have cleared the 44th BCS written examination in the general cadre is starting from September 1. The schedule has been published by the Public Service Commission (PSC).
The exam schedule was released on Wednesday (August 14).
According to PSC sources, the oral examination of the candidates who passed the written examination of the 44th BCS in the general cadre will start from September 1 and will continue until September 19. Candidates viva test will be conducted at the head office of PSC in Sher Bangla Nagar, Agargaon of the capital.
A total of 3 lakh 50 thousand 716 job aspirants applied in the 44th BCS examination. Online application for 44th BCS started on 30th December 2021, last date of application was 31st January. Later it was increased and fixed on March 2 by PSC.
Then the preliminary exam was held on 27 May 2022. PSC records by publishing the results within 25 days of the examination. 15 thousand 708 candidates passed the preliminary examination.
According to the notification of 44th BCS, 1 thousand 710 officers will be taken in different cadres in this BCS. Out of this, 250 people are in Administration Cadre, 50 in Police Cadre, 10 in Foreign Affairs Cadre, 14 in Ansar Cadre, 30 in Audit and Accounts, 11 in Tax Cadre, 8 in Cooperatives, 7 in Railway Transport and Commercial, 10 in Information, 23 in Postal, 6 in Commerce, 27 in Family Planning, 3 in food, 485 in technical cadre and 776 in education cadre.
