Primary school opens on Wednesday

The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has directed to take necessary measures to open the closed primary schools in view of the anti-discrimination student movement. Also, all the primary schools in the country are being opened from tomorrow Wednesday. Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, public relations officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education said that although the classrooms were open until now, the teaching was stopped. Classes will start in full swing from tomorrow (Wednesday).
An instruction was issued from the ministry on Tuesday (August 13). In this letter signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Satyajit Roy Das, necessary instructions have been given to all district and upazila level officials of the country. According to the letter, the class activities of the primary level educational institutions under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education will be started in full swing. The effectivity of the Office Order issued by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on August 3 last is hereby revoked. It is also said that all government primary schools under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Shishu Kalyan Trust-run Shishu Kalyan Trust and Learning Centers of the Bureau of Non-Formal Education have been requested to take necessary measures to start full-fledged class activities.
