Sylhet top in HSC pass rate, Dhaka board at GPA-5

Sylhet is at the top among the 9 general education boards in higher secondary pass rate; And the name of Dhaka Education Board is ahead towards obtaining GPA-5.

83 thousand 165 students participated in Sylhet education board this time. 85.39 percent passed out of total. Out of 71 thousand 12 passers, 6 thousand 698 got GPA-5.

On the other hand, out of 2 lakh 49 thousand 278 students who passed the Dhaka Board, the number of students who got GPA-5 is 48 thousand 548. The passing rate of Dhaka Board this time is 79.21 percent. Dhaka is lagging behind in pass rate.

Madrasa Education Board is at the top in terms of pass rate among the combined 11 boards. 93.40 percent students passed in this board; 9 thousand 613 people got GPA-5.

Mymensingh board is the most backward among 11 education boards. The pass rate in this board is 63.22 percent; 4 thousand 826 people got GPA-5.

88.09 percent of the 1 lakh 14 thousand 382 students who participated in this year's technical board examination; 4 thousand 922 people got GPA-5.

1 lakh 11 thousand 448 people have passed in Rajshahi Board with 81.24 percent pass rate. 24 thousand 902 got GPA-5.

74 thousand 125 people have passed in Chittagong Board with a pass rate of 70.32 percent. Out of 1 lakh 5 thousand 416 candidates, 10 thousand 269 got GPA-5.

The pass rate in Barisal board this time is 81.85 percent. Out of 54 thousand 89 students who passed, 4 thousand 167 got GPA-5.

86 thousand 954 students have passed in Dinajpur Board. 14 thousand 295 of them got GPA-5. The pass rate is 77.56 percent.

The pass rate in Comilla board this time is 71.15 percent. Out of 79 thousand 905 students who passed this board, 7 thousand 922 got GPA-5.

And 68.29 percent students have passed in Jessore board. Out of 78 thousand 764 students who passed this board, 9 thousand 949 got GPA-5.
