EB's Young Columnist Forum is led by Sunny and Ashiq

Bangladesh Young Columnists Forum Islami University Branch Executive Committee for 2024-25 has been formed. In this, Khairuzzaman Khan Sunny, a student of Tourism and Hospitality Management Department of 2019-20 year, and Ashikur Rahman, a student of Al-Fiqh and Legal Studies Department of 2019-20 year, has been nominated as the general secretary.
On Thursday (September 19), the organization's central president Amjad Hossain Hriday and central secretary Imran Uddin confirmed this information in a press release.
Newly elected president Khairuzzaman Khan Sunny assured to work towards developing latent talent through united efforts and cooperation of all.
Newly elected Ashiqur Rahman said, 'Increasing the number and quality of writing as part of the basic activities of the Writers' Forum at the beginning of my responsibility. EB wants to emphasize the creation of new leadership of the branch and the creation of quality and creative writers. Even in keeping with the 21st century, we hope to make the young writers proficient in technical matters outside of academics and repeat the glorious history of EB discipline with the cooperation of all.
It is to be noted that the organization started its journey on July 23, 2018 with the motto of 'develop latent talent in writing'. Bangladesh Tarun Columnists Forum organizes meetings, seminars and workshops on writing, including giving advice to young writers, helping them publish their writings in newspapers. Besides, the EB branch was selected as the best branch of the year for four consecutive times.
