Postponed 46th BCS written exam

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has postponed the written examination of 46th BCS compulsory and post related subjects from August 28 to September 9.
This information is known from the notification signed by PSC Controller of Examination (Cadre) Anand Kumar Biswas on Sunday (August 25).
It said that the 46th BCS written examination (compulsory and post related subjects) scheduled from August 28 to September 9 has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The next date and schedule of the examination will be intimated through a press release in due course.
PSC published the notification of 46th BCS on November 30 last year. A total of 3 thousand 140 cadre posts have been kept in this BCS. Out of this there are 489 posts in general cadre. And there are 2 thousand 74 posts in technical (professional) cadre.
Apart from this, 520 people in general education and 57 people in technical education will get employment in government jobs through this BCS. Most will be taken in health cadre. 1 thousand 682 BCS assistant surgeons, 16 assistant dental surgeons will be recruited through this examination.
