Demonstration in Barisal against Moumita's murder

Students of India's RG Kar Medical College staged a protest march and blockade in Barisal to protest the killing of Moumita Debnath, a doctor. On Sunday (August 18) at 12:30 PM, this program was held under the banner of general students of Band Road Sher-i-Bangla Medical College of the city.
At that time, the students were seen holding placards holding slogans like 'We want justice, no more rapist', 'Justice for Moumita, Justice for Moumita', 'Tanu to Moumita, Barisal to Kolkata', etc.
Students said, we want all countries of the world to be safe for women. We are here demanding justice for our sister's murder. We demand that the culprits be brought to justice as soon as possible in the tragic incident that happened to Maumita in Kolkata. Those involved in this incident should be brought under exemplary punishment so that no one dares to commit such activities ever again. We strongly condemn and protest this incident. At the same time, I demand that the culprits be brought under the law and brought to justice as soon as possible. Besides, the students demanded the safety of doctors at work.
5th year students of Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Mosharef Ferdous, Arafat Rahman, Sabbir Elahi, Naima Zaman Supti, Najmus Saqib, Serjam Munira, 4th year students Sanjida Rahman, Moumita Zara and various year students and intern doctors were present in the human chain. After the human chain, the students took a protest march and circled the campus road.
