Chittagong DC gave job to the brother of martyr Ishmam in quota movement

Chittagong District Commissioner Abul Bashar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman has given a job to Muhibul Haque, the elder brother of Ishmam of Lohagara, Chittagong, who was martyred in the anti-discrimination student movement.

He was appointed as an office assistant in the Chittagong Zoo under the district administration. On Wednesday (August 14) around 11 am, the appointment letter was handed over to Muhibul Haque at the Deputy Commissioner's office.
At this time, Chittagong DC Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman said, last Monday we met the family of Shaheed Ishmam, a child of Lohagara. Apart from financial support there, we also assure a family member of a job. In continuation of that, the appointment letter has been handed over to the elder brother of Shaheed Ishmam, Muhibul Haque. Muhibul will work as an office assistant at the Chittagong Zoo under the district administration.

The District Commissioner also said that not only Shaheed Ishmam, but also the martyred and injured students in the movement, such initiative of the district administration will continue. We have taken measures for the medical treatment of the injured students. Besides, we will provide financial support to the victims of this movement and contact the concerned authorities to provide employment to at least one member of their family in various public and private institutions.

At that time, Shaheed Ishmam's elder brother Muhibul Haque thanked the appointed Deputy Commissioner and said, I got the appointment letter just two days after the job assurance. I am thankful for the quick initiative of the district administration. Many thanks to the District Commissioner for standing by our family who lost Ishmam.
