Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) OC Masood Parvez Bhuiyan was killed in a clash during the quota reform movement in Dhaka's Banshree. After 9 days of his burial, the police took the body from the grave and sent it for autopsy.
On Wednesday (July 31), the matter was confirmed by the OC of Ishwarganj Police Station. Majedur Rahman.
He said a PBI team exhumed the body of police officer Masood Parvez from the grave on Tuesday (July 30). At that time, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Didare Alam Mohammad Maqsud Chowdhury were present at the scene. After the exhumation of the body, a report was prepared. Later sent to Mymensingh Medical College for autopsy.
Earlier, OC Masud was killed in Banshri area of the capital on July 19. A day after this incident, he was buried in the family graveyard of Atharbari Kalandar village of Ishwarganj upazila of Mymensingh on July 20. He was the son of deceased Abdul Jabbar Bhuiya of that village and was working as inspector in Narayanganj PBI. Marina Akhter Veena, the wife of the police officer killed in the incident filed a case at Dhaka Khilgaon Police Station as the plaintiff.
