The students have demanded to change the name of Rangpur Park Junction to Shaheed Abu Saeed Chatwar in memory of Abu Saeed, a member of the Coordinating Committee of the Quota Reform Movement and a student of Begum Rokeya University (Berobi), who was killed by the police.
Currently, the name of Shaheed Abu Saeed Chatwar is appearing at Park Mor on Google Maps and there have been reports about it in the media.

The deceased is a final year student of English Department of 12th batch of Saeed Rokeya University. His father Maqbul Hossain is an active worker of Awami League. Said was the youngest among 9 brothers and sisters.
