Kurigram Government Primary School teachers Human chain demanding salary increase and promotion

In Kurigram, the teachers of government primary school assistant teachers have formed a human chain in order to get the salary and benefits according to the rank and grade. Hundreds of assistant teachers and head teachers along with teacher representatives participated in the human chain.
The teachers submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner after forming a human chain in front of the Kurigram Press Club on Thursday (October 3) morning.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Government Primary School Teachers Society Kurigram District Branch spoke. Rashedul Islam Khadkar said, we are not against the government, we want to support the development of the government and stand by the government. As government employees, we request the chief advisor to ensure the salary and benefits of assistant teachers grade 10 and head teachers grade 9.
