Palli Vidyut Samiti in Kurigram Human chain of officers and employees

The officers and employees of Kurigram Lalmonirhat Palli Vidyut Samiti have formed a human chain to demand regularization of contractual employees along with the formulation of uniform employment rules. An hour-long human chain was formed on the Kurigram-Chilmari road in front of the Kurigram Press Club at 11 a.m. on Monday.
AGM Lateshchandra, Lineman Nazmul Islam, Rabiul Islam etc. of Kurigram Lalmonirhat Palli Vidyut Samiti spoke on the occasion.
The speakers said that the Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board is harassing the officers and employees of Palli Vidyut Samiti by purchasing and supplying low-quality electrical equipment, creating an artificial shortage of essential goods and manpower, and spreading misleading information at the customer level. We strongly protest to stop harassment. In addition, the speakers announced boycott of REB if the regularization of contractual employees' jobs is not done along with the merger of REB and PBS along with the formulation of uniform employment rules.
