A woman died in a road accident in Panchagarh, Debiganj upazila

A woman named Saziron Begum (70) has been reported dead in a road accident in Debiganj upazila. 2 more people were seriously injured in this incident at that time. The road accident took place on the Asian highway near the city's Prashika intersection at 2 pm on Tuesday (September 24). The deceased Saziron Begum is the wife of deceased Abul Hossain of Patwari Para area of Debiganj Municipality.
According to police and local sources, on Tuesday afternoon, Saziron Begum was going from College Para to Patwari Para, while crossing the Asian Highway near Prashika Mor, a couple riding a motorcycle from Domar towards Debiganj. At that time, despite honking several times, Sajiran Begum suddenly came in front of the motorcycle as she was hearing impaired. Saziron Begum was seriously injured. Later the locals rescued him and took him to the Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
In this incident, the motorcycle rider. Liton Islam and his wife Iti Begum were injured. They are currently under treatment at Debiganj Upazila Health Complex.
Hasibul Islam, the grandson of the deceased Saziron Begum, said that his grandmother had been unable to see and hear for a long time.
Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Debiganj Police Station Soel Rana said that the old woman died in a road accident, and the legal process is ongoing. Haven't received any complaint from the family yet.
