Locals formed a human chain to protest the attack and anarchy by Juba Dal leader Rezaul Karim and his loyalist Ismail Gong in connection with the beating of a 64-year-old woman in Chilmari, Kurigram.
On Wednesday afternoon, a protest march with the participation of men and women from the area took out from the pump intersection of Thanahat Union of the upazila and went to the upazila council premises and turned into a human chain. Then at that time local men and women spoke in a human chain for an hour.
