After several days of dense fog and bitter cold, the sun has finally appeared in Tentulia of Panchagarh. Although the sun shone on Friday (January 2) morning, the cold did not subside. The temperature in Tentulia dropped to 9 degrees, causing extreme suffering in public life.
Till 9 am on Friday, the presence of people was relatively low on the busiest roads of Tentulia upazila of the district. Common people are not leaving their homes without necessity. Many of those who are leaving have been seen burning paper and straw on the side of the road to make fire. Low-income people, daily wage laborers and pedestrians are especially suffering the most due to the severity of the winter.
Dense fog fell throughout the night and it rained like rain. The surrounding roads were foggy even in the morning. Although the sun was not visible for two-three consecutive days, the sun was visible this morning when the sky cleared. However, the entire Tentulia township seems to have been overwhelmed by the dense fog and icy winds.
