Light to moderate rain is expected across the country: Meteorological Department

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in a forecast that there may be light to moderate rains across the country in the next 24 hours from 9 am on Saturday.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department announced this information in a forecast on Saturday (August 24).
It said that many places of Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and some places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions may experience light to moderate rain with gusty winds or rain with thunder.
Apart from this, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions may experience moderate to heavy rainfall at some places.

Night temperatures are likely to remain almost unchanged across the country, with a slight increase in daytime temperatures.
Besides, the extension of monsoon axis extends over Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam.
An extension of it extends to the northern Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and moderate to strong over North Bay of Bengal.
