Chief Advisor's reception for series winning cricketers in Pakistan

A few days ago, Bangladesh cricket team made history on the soil of Pakistan. The chief advisor of the interim government met with the team that won the historic test series. Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Nazmul Hossain Shantara went to the chief adviser's office today (Thursday) around noon.

At that time, Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan was present. Apart from this, BCB's new president Farooq Ahmed, director Nazmul Abedin Fahim and chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan were also present.
On Thursday, the chief advisor told the cricketers at the Tejgaon office, I was waiting for this meeting. He also said that their achievement in Pakistan is historic. The entire nation is proud of their achievements. Congratulating the cricketers on behalf of the nation, the Chief Advisor said, 'I spoke to the captain after the victory. However, I was eagerly waiting to meet you directly and congratulate you on behalf of the nation.

During this time, he highlighted the importance of sports in uniting nations and participated in the Paris Olympics as an advisor and goodwill ambassador. He also mentioned that he was invited to participate in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy as a chief advisor.

A few days ago, the country's cricket witnessed an unforgettable moment on the soil of Pakistan. The red-green team won the two-match series against Pakistan, who have never lost in the Test format. The first Test match victory against Pakistan came in this series after 24 years of achieving Test status. After a huge 10-wicket win in the first Test, an outstanding 6-wicket win came in the second Test as well.

After the victory, the national cricket team captain Nazmul Hossain called Shanto and congratulated him and the team for the historic Test series win against Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
