Gita verse reading in pujamandap, Viral Jamaat leader

The central leader of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Professor Matiar Rahman, has created a lot of discussion by reciting verses from the holy book Gita of Sanatan religions in a ceremony organized in a pujamandap on the occasion of Sharidiya Durgotsav.
The incident took place at Mahasaptami ceremony at Bajeba Mondah Haritala Palpara Puja Mandap of Kotchandpur Upazila of Jhenaidah around 10 pm on Thursday night. A 5-minute video of the Jamaat leader's Gita reading has already gone viral on social media. Professor Matiar Rahman is a member of Surah in the Central Majlis of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh.
It can be seen in the viral video, at one stage of the speech, Prof. Motiar Rahman recited a verse from the Gita to everyone present. At this time, the women of Sanatan religion give uludbhani and play the conch shell. After reciting the verses, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami assured that if elected in the future, he will give all possible support to the celebration of the festival of the Hindu community. He also said, "I am not alone. BNP leaders are also with me."
