Metrorail movement on Agargaon-Motijheel-Agargaon route has been stopped since morning due to the spring of a viaduct near Farmgate metrorail station in the capital. Many people had to get down in the middle of the road as the metro rail movement was stopped. As a result, passengers going to work including office going passengers have suffered. Due to sudden pressure of more passengers on the road, traffic jam has been created in the surrounding area of ​​Agargaon. Passengers started suffering after 9:30 am on Wednesday.

DMTCL has officially informed about the partial suspension of metro rail movement, due to unavoidable reasons, train movement from Agargaon to Motijheel section is temporarily suspended from 9:40 am. However, trains are still running on the Uttara North to Agargaon section. Agargaon to Motijheel section will be informed if the train movement is normal
