The authority of Islami University (EB) Lalon Shah Hall has taken 5 decisions including abolition of common room system. These decisions were taken at the discussion meeting of the hall body on Sunday (September 8) at 12:30 pm. Provost Professor Lalon Shah Hall. Akhtar Hossain confirmed this information.
According to the notice source, other hall related students will not be able to stay in this hall. Each room cannot accommodate more than one student. No student without residency will be allowed to stay in the hall. The common room was completely abolished. Students who have already completed their Master's examination will have to leave the hall.
Besides, raid the hall administration room at any time. At that time, if non-resident students other than resident students stay in the procession, it is decided to take legal action against them.
Dr. in these matters. Akhtar Hossain said, 'The common room is the den of all misdeeds. Common rooms do not exist in residential halls as per rules. They are the creation of political parties. Those who live in this common room are not even resident students of the hall. So we decided to close the common room. Henceforth there will be no more than the number of seats in each room.
He also said, we want to manage the hall properly. I want to return the right of students to get seats based on merit. For that we must go through these initial steps. We have already visited the common rooms. If the campus is regular, we will increase our activities. If there is any non-resident, action will be taken against him. Hall administration will ensure residency of eligible students.
