Ferdowsi Tanveer won the title of 'Miss Bangladesh Beauty Pageant 2024'. nickname wish At the same time she won the title of 'Miss Bangladesh Earth'. The grand finale of the competition was held on October 9 at La Meridien in Dhaka. 10 people were selected for the grand finale based on creativity, talent, intelligence and beauty. The selected women will represent Bangladesh in 10 international competitions in 6 continents of the world.
Ichha was born in Mirpur, Dhaka. He said, 'I grew up in Dhaka. My mother Shaoli Ferdowsi is a teacher. Holding his hand and moving ahead of me. My mother raised me alone. On his inspiration, I signed up for the competition a month ago. Currently studying LLB in BRAC University.
This young lady is very happy to get success in participating for the first time. He was saying, 'I did not even imagine that I will be in the top 10. I have learned many new things by coming here. Gained confidence from mentors. I know how to present myself on the world stage. In the future, I want to work on the empowerment of women in Bangladesh.
He also spoke about his interest in acting and modeling. In the meantime, he has worked in several short films and documentaries. He also got an opportunity to act in a part of the popular magazine show 'Etiyadi'. Ichha was saying, 'I want to do modeling and acting regularly. From television to movies, documentaries, I want to work in all kinds of mediums. I want to establish myself by learning to work. I also want to join the legal profession. I am interested in working with criminal law in the future if given an opportunity.
At the beginning of the event, the contestants appeared on the stage in dresses designed by Rosa Afroza, the head designer of Laurato Fashion Brand. Then the question and answer session began. The participants spoke of their dreams and determination to create a new world. The encouragement to change the world through the empowerment of women was found in most of the words.
Growing Together Director Julia Weissman, International Stylist and Yoga Instructor Minna Sfinhoo, Senior Journalist Sharmin Rahman, Music Producer and Composer Manam Ahmed, Northbrook Consultants Managing Director Nazim Farhan Chowdhury, Corporate Trainer and Media Personality Ferdous Bappi and Miss Bangladesh Foundation Chairman Meghna Alam at the grand finale. Worked as a judge. Kazi Tarana became the first runner-up in the competition. Tarana will represent Bangladesh at Miss Global in Cambodia. Second runner-up Mahbooba Rahman Lavanya will participate in the Royal International Miss USA.
Among the top 10 contestants, 7 other contestants from Bangladesh were Miss Heritage International (Thailand), Miss Asia, Miss Asia Global, Miss Glam World (India), Miss Interglobal (Philippines), Miss Culture Global (South Africa) and Miss Freedom of the World (Kosovo and Albania) will be represented in the competition.
