A writ was filed in the High Court seeking curriculum reform at the secondary level

A writ has been filed in the High Court seeking reform of the education system at the secondary school level. The writ sought directions to form an inquiry committee to identify those who formulated the wrong curriculum. At the same time, the current education curriculum has been requested to be suspended from 2025.
On Tuesday (August 27), Supreme Court lawyer Kamrul Hasan filed this writ in public interest.
Education Secretary, NCTB Chairman, Maushi Director General and Primary and Mass Education Secretary have been made defendants in this writ.
The writ petition will be heard in the high court bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Muhammad Mahbub ul Islam.
