In Kurigram, the police arrested 2 people who insulted the Holy Prophet

In Rajarhat Upazila of Kurigram, the police have arrested Moholota Shaheen and Lovelu, who insulted the Prophet (PBUH) on Facebook.

According to the police sources, on the morning of Saturday, October 12, a person named Shaheen Alam made an insulting post about the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on his Facebook ID. Later the Facebook post came to the attention of the district police. Immediately, a smart team led by the Superintendent of Police, including Circle Additional Superintendent of Police AKM Ohidunnabi, using information technology, arrested the abuser Shaheen Alam from Kurigram Sadar Upazila around 12:30 PM. Based on his information, one more person named Lovelu involved in this incident was arrested by DB Police at around 4 pm from Ulipur's Mandal Hat area.
The arrested are Shaheen Alam (30), a resident of Upan Chaki village of Rajarhat Upazila and Lovelu Mia (29), a resident of Mandal Hat Bepari Para area of Ulipur Upazila.
Superintendent of Police Mahfuzur Rahman confirmed the arrest and said that the investigation is continuing to see if anyone else is involved in this incident.#
