Benapole Namcharya Sri Sri Brahma Haridas Thakur Patbari Asharya Bengali Sanatan Dharma believers' autumn festival of Durga Puja today Thursday 10th October is the second day Saptami Tithi. According to the Shastras, the invitation and abode of Sri Sri Devi Durga is completed on Maha Durgasashti Tithi on Wednesday morning by performing various Mangalik kriyas.

On the morning of Saptami Tithi, the worship of the Goddess will begin by entering Kadali or Rambha (banana), Kachu, Haridra (yellow), Jayanti, Bilb (Beel), Darimb (Pomegranate), Ashoka, Man and Paddy plants in Navapatrika traditional language Kala Bau. . Sharsha Upazila Benapole Municipality Haridas Thakur Pat Bari Ashram sources informed that Sri Sri Mahasaptami begins at 6:10 am.

It should be noted that the nine plants of Navapatrika are actually conceived as symbols of the nine special forms of Goddess Durga. These nine goddesses are Rambhadhishtatri Brahmani, Kachvadhishtatri Kalika, Haridradhishtatri Uma, Jayantyadhishtatri Kartiki, Bilbadhishtatri Shiva, Darimbadhishtatri Raktadantika, Ashokadhishtatri Shokarhita, Manadhishtatri Chamunda and Dhanyadhishtatri Lakshmi. These nine goddesses will be worshiped together as 'Navapatrikavasini Navadurga' with the mantra 'Navapatrikavasinyi Navadurgayi Namah'.

Devotees will offer Pushpanjali at the lotus feet of Durgatinashini Sri Sri Devi Durga. Shanti Mantra will be chanted in unison by the assembled pilgrims wishing for happiness and prosperity. Throughout the day, pujacharana will be held in the premises of the temple-mandap, devotees will offer garlands to Chandipath. Every temple and mandap premises will become a great pilgrimage in the presence of people of different ages and classes and professions. Mangal Aarti will be held in the evening in a light-filled environment.

On this day of Mahasaptami, after bathing the Navapatrika according to the scriptures in the temple-mandap, wearing a new saree, she will be brought to the main place of worship and placed on a wooden throne to the right of Goddess Durga. After the Navapatrika enters the place of worship, the goddess will be bathed in a thousand-hole reservoir in the mirror. Then there is the tradition of Bhog Aarti and distribution of Prasad after offering Anjali to the devotees. Mangal Aarti will be held in the evening as part of the puja.

Mahanavami Puja Kalparambh on October 12 morning and Mahadashami Kalparambh from morning on October 13- Pooja ending and Darpan Bisarjan at 9 pm minutes.
