International Right to Information Day celebrated in Kurigram

Kurigram Conscious Citizens Committee (SANAK) formed under the inspiration of TIB and the district administration separately celebrated the day with various programs keeping in mind the motto "New Bangladesh: I want freedom of speech, I want free access to information".
A rally, human chain and discussion meeting was held on Kurigram-Rangpur road in Khalilganj Bazar area on Saturday morning under the initiative of Sanak. Later Deputy Commissioner Nusrat Sultana presided over the discussion meeting in the Deputy Commissioner conference room. Additional Deputy Commissioner Uttam Kumar Roy, Principal Mirza Nasir Uddin, SANAC President Advocate Ahsan Habib Neelu, President Samiul Haque Nantu, District Education Officer Shamsul Alam, District Information Officer Shahjahan Ali, Soumen Das, Joint General Secretary of Press Club spoke on the occasion.
