Preity Zinta is returning to films after eight years, says why she was in the dark

Popular Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is returning to the big screen after a long eight years. The actress, who took a break from acting at a successful time in her career, said that the main reason for her break was to give time to her family and children.
Preity was once one of the busiest and most popular actresses in Bollywood. However, after marriage and the birth of her child, she gradually distanced herself from films.
Giving time to her family was a priority
Preity Zinta recently spoke about her long break at the promotion of the film 'Batwara 1947'.
She said that she enjoyed the time away from films with her family. The actress also mentioned that she did not miss acting much.
According to Preity, giving birth to children and raising them is one of the most important experiences of her life.
Pairing up with Sunny Deol again
After a long break, Preity Zinta is returning to the screen with the film 'Batwara 1947'.
Interestingly, Sunny Deol will be opposite her in this film as well. She had earlier acted with Sunny Deol in the 2018 film 'Bhaiyaji Superhit'.
Apart from acting, she was involved in business
Even though she was away from cinema, Preity was not completely inactive. She has also made a name for herself as an entrepreneur.
After focusing on her personal life, family and business, this Bollywood star is now returning to the world of acting.
