Three wheeler driver killed in passenger bus-three wheeler collision

A three-wheeler named Md. Atiqullah (Babu) (22) was killed in a head-on collision between a CNG-powered three-wheeler (auto rickshaw) and a passenger vehicle in Tetulia upazila of Panchagarh district.

The accident took place on Tentulia-Panchgarh National Highway in Bowamari area of Shalbahan Union of Tentulia Upazila of the district on Thursday morning.
It is known that the deceased Atiqullah Babu is the son of Muslim Uddin of Sardarpara area of Boda municipality of the district.
According to the police and local sources, Atiqullah was driving a three-wheeler (crazy) at 10 am on Thursday to deliver the goods to the bakery. Meanwhile, while passing a tractor on the road in Boalmari area of Tentulia, Atiq lost control and collided with a passenger bus going in the opposite direction and was seriously injured. Later, the locals quickly rescued him while injured and took him to Tentulia Upazila Health Complex, where the duty doctor declared him dead.
Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector of Tentulia Bhajanpur Highway Police Station Shamsul Haque confirmed the death of the driver of the three-wheeler and said that the family of the deceased has been informed that they will be taken action according to the legal process.
The body of the deceased is lying in the hospital till the writing of this report.
