One injured in an attack by the enemy in Benapole

One person was injured in an enemy attack in Benapole Municipality area of ​​Jessore. He was admitted to Jessore General Hospital in critical condition. The injured are Mofizur Rahman (56), son of deceased Moktar Hossain of Ward No. 9, Baranchra village, Benapole Municipality, Sharsha Upazila.
The injured Mofizur said that he is involved in Awami politics. Since the fall of the government, the leaders and activists of the opposition party have been threatening him with death.

On Saturday (August 31), a group of unidentified miscreants beat him up and ran away when he went out for Zohar prayer at Jannat Mosque at the Benapole check post. He thinks that, for political reasons, the people of the opponent hired gunmen from outside to attack him.

He is the uncle of the Mayor of Benapole Municipality and the younger brother of the Chairman of Benapole Union Parishad.
