Janmashtami is being celebrated in Tangail

The birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, auspicious Janmashtami, has been celebrated in Tangail through various religious events.
At 11 o'clock on Monday, the colorful procession from Bara Kalibari of the city circled around the important roads of the city and ended again at Bara Kalibari.
Sri Sri Kalibari Temple Committee General Secretary Bir Muktijoddha Jiban Krishna Chowdhury, District Puja Celebration Committee General Secretary Pradeep Kumar Guna Jhantu, Bara Kalibari Temple Committee Organizing Secretary Suman Sarkar and other Hindu religious leaders were present.
Men and women of Sanatan religion also participated in this procession.
