Ferry services on Daulatdia-Paturia route suspended!

Due to dense fog, ferry services on Daulatdia-Paturia route have been suspended. The BIWTC authorities took this decision from 7:30 am on Saturday.
BIWTC Daulatdia Ghat Assistant General Manager Md. Salahuddin said that when the fog density increases, the channel beacon lights and marking points become unclear. It was decided to temporarily suspend ferry services to avoid accidents.
Passengers, workers and businessmen are suffering due to the suspension of ferry services. Authorities said that once the fog density decreases, the passage of passengers and vehicles will resume on 15 ferries.
