Jatiya Party Chairman Gholam Mohammad Quader has expressed concern over the tense situation between Bengalis and minorities in the three hill districts. He said that the peace and stability of the hills should be maintained at any cost. I don't want to see blood stains on green hills.

He said these things in an exchange meeting with the leaders of the National Fishermen's Party and National Hawkers Party at the National Party Chairman's office on Monday (September 23).

Calling on Pahari, Bengalis and the administration to be aware, GM Quader said, we are all Bangladeshis, we believe in unity and harmony. We cannot allow the tourism industry and economic potential of the hill areas to be destroyed. All parties have to deal with the situation with patience and tolerance.
