Call for teachers-lawyers-journalists to join the protest

Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, the platform of students protesting for quota reform, has called for a protest march across the country today. Students, teachers, lawyers, journalists from all over the country have been invited to join it.
The coordinators of the student movement gave a program on social media on Friday afternoon. In addition to Saturday's protest, they announced an all-out non-cooperation movement from Sunday. Later, co-coordinator Abdullah Salehin Ayan sent a message urging them to join the protest.
The message said that after July 15 peaceful anti-discrimination student protests were fired upon by the law enforcement forces, another peaceful protest was fired upon on August 2. In protest of this and the 9-point demand, I am calling on students, teachers, lawyers, journalists from all over the country to hold a protest rally on August 3 in the center of every district of the country.
Meanwhile, another message sent by coordinator Rifat Rashid said, "A 158-member coordinating team has been formed with student representatives who are protesting across the country to demand the trial of the murder, the resignation of those responsible and the release of the arrested persons." This team will be expanded with the coordinators of various institutions across the country.
Since last July 16, incidents of violence have been taking place in different parts of the country centered on the quota reform movement. The number of people killed in these incidents so far is 150 according to official figures. However, the agitators have said that this number is 266 people.
