For the past 12 years, there have been allegations that Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) exam questions have been leaked. PSC Chairman Md. does not understand what action will be taken regarding these exams. Sohrab Hossain.
Md. Sohrab Hossain said, "There have been many tests for 12 years. I don't know what will happen to those tests if they come up now.
He said this while talking to reporters on Tuesday (July 9) afternoon at Agargaon Karma Commission Bhawan.
He said, "Whenever there is an examination, there are irregularities, either through you (journalists) or through the examinees, or in different ways (complaints). How can there be evidence after 12 years about the exam?'
However, the PSC is investigating the matter and this investigation committee will also work on the question leak complaint of 12 years ago, he said, "The complete matter is under our investigation. Our investigation report is bringing out the complete matter completely quote-unquote.
There is no room for loopholes in this process, is he making this claim or not? In response to this question, the PSC chairman said, "I don't want to say this." Because, it is not done by anyone alone, it is done by many people. But (expletive) is very difficult. If you leak questions, you have to leak six sets. Six sets means 1,200 questions.
He said, "In the lottery, one set comes from six sets. No one but Allah can tell which one will come in the lottery. And I can't say that all the (set) questions are leaked. Again, I can't say that all the questions were not leaked. It is not possible to say anything before the investigation.
Regarding PSC driver Abed Ali, he said that there is no scope for question leakage in the process in which questions are set and supplied. However, since many people are involved in this activity, it cannot be said with certainty.
Meanwhile, more than two hundred job aspirants protested in front of the Public Service Commission (PSC) against the leak of question papers for the appointment of 'Deputy Assistant Engineer' of Bangladesh Railway. At that time, they demanded to cancel the recruitment exam held on July 5 and retake the exam.
They started the protest in front of the PSC building in Agargaon of the capital on Tuesday (July 9) around 11 o'clock. They left around 1 pm.
Meanwhile, CID has arrested 17 people including three senior officials of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Monday (July 8) on allegations of leaking questions of 30 recruitment exams including BCS exam. They were arrested in different parts of the country including Dhaka. On Tuesday morning, a case has been registered against them at Paltan police station in the capital.
