Police will hire 3600 constables after SSC pass

Bangladesh Police Force has released a notification for the recruitment of Trainee Recruit Constable. The application will start from October 1. Interested candidates must have passed SSC or equivalent examination and have minimum GPA-2.5.

Applicants must be permanent citizens of Bangladesh and unmarried. Divorcees are not eligible. Candidates age should be between 18 to 20 years as on 15 October 2024. In this case the existing quota for children of brave freedom fighters, martyred brave freedom fighters and veterans will be followed.

Physical fitness

For merit quota, male candidates should have height of 5 feet 6 inches. Son of Veer Mukti Joddha, Shaheed Veer Mukti Joddha and Veerangana, 5 feet 4 inches in terms of minority ethnic quota. Rules will be followed in respect of physically challenged and third gender quota. Height of female candidates should be 5 feet 4 inches for merit quota. 5 feet 2 inches in case of veer freedom fighters, children of martyred veer freedom fighters and veerangana and minority candidates.

In case of merit and minorities quota, chest size is 31 inches in normal condition and 33 inches in enlarged condition. 30 inches in normal condition and 31 inches in expanded condition in case of quota for children of veer mukti joddha, martyred veer mukti joddha and veerangana. Vision 6/6.
