Kamala collected $200 million in the first week of the campaign

It is said that US President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the upcoming election on Sunday of last week. He has endorsed Kamala Harris as Trump's opponent for the November 5 election.
Besides, Kamala has already got the support of other leaders of the Democrat Party. Kamala's candidacy for president has become very strong now. Because the country's former president and Democrat leader Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have supported Kamala. It is considered that Kamala's presidential candidacy is very certain. But the final nomination will be at the national convention in August. Although Kamala has less eyes on it, she is fully focused on the campaign and continues to raise support and funds for the party.
Kamala Harris has raised $200 million since the campaign began, Rob Flaherty, Kamala's deputy campaign manager, wrote in a post on X. He noted that 66 percent of donors are new supporters. Besides, the number of new members has also increased by 1 lakh 70 thousand.
According to a Reuters poll, Trump and Kamala are continuing their campaign with the next 100 days in front of them. In early July, Republicans reported that Trump raised $331 million in the second quarter of the year. Biden, on the other hand, raised $264 million in the same period. Earlier in June, Trump and Biden raised $284 million and $240 million respectively.
