Assassination attempt on Trump in public

Former US President Donald Trump was injured in an attack on Saturday (July 13) at an election rally in Pennsylvania. Trump was then hospitalized. Trump was last seen in New Jersey after being shot in the attack, the Guardian reported.
Fox News reported in their live report that the Republican candidate was finally seen for the first time since the assassination attempt on Trump. Trump is seen getting off the plane on Sunday morning local time.
Al Jazeera says Trump's plane landed at Newark Liberty International Airport. Video has surfaced showing Trump getting off the plane. It is not clear where the former president is going. But Trump has a golf club near Bedminster.
Meanwhile, the US intelligence agency FBI has confirmed that an assassination attempt was made on Trump at the election meeting.
Earlier, BBC reported that Trump was shot at the election meeting on Saturday night. Instant shots were fired at him. The Butler County District Attorney told the media that the gunman and another person were killed in the incident.
The Secret Service of the country has confirmed that Trump is now safe. Trump also thanked the Secret Service and law enforcement for their quick response to the attack.
