The BSF has arrested four Bangladeshi nationals from the border area of ​​India's northeastern state of Tripura on charges of illegal entry. It is said that four Bangladeshis have been arrested by the police in Tripura. They were detained on charges of illegally crossing the border into India.

The Tripura Police said the four Bangladeshis were seen wandering around Kumarghat in Unakoti district after entering India through the border near a Bangladeshi town.

Those arrested are Mohammad Hanif (50) of Muralganj in Bagerhat district of Bangladesh, Mohammad Yusuf Ali (35) of Gopalpani area of ​​the same district, and Parul Begum and Jasmine Akhtar of Jamaltila area.

The Tripura police said that the arrested had been traveling in auto-rickshaws all night after entering Tripura. Later, when they were dropped near the LIC office in Dharmanagar town, the patrol officers became suspicious.

During the interrogation, the police officers got the information about the illegal entry. The police said, during the interrogation, the Bangladeshis said that a person named Rubel from the capital Dhaka arranged for them to enter India illegally. He also promised to arrange them jobs in Bangalore, India. But according to the agreement, they were supposed to pay Rubel after reaching Bangalore.

A Tripura police official said that the number of Bangladeshis migrating to India in search of employment is increasing. Tripura police produced them before the court after arresting them. Legal action is currently pending against them.
