The former president of the country and the current candidate of the Republican Party, Donald Trump, has confirmed that the day of the presidential debate with his rival and Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, has been set in the upcoming presidential election. Trump said this information in a post on his social media, Truth Social, on Tuesday. The debate will be held in Philadelphia on September 10.

The debate program will be initiated and organized by ABC News, the US partner of the BBC. According to ABC sources, there will be a debate between Trump and Kamala on various issues in the studio. When one speaks, the other's mic will be muted and there will be no audience in the studio.

While in office, Trump once called ABC News the most "bad" and "biased" media outlet in America. However, in Tuesday's post, he did not leave any trace of that old memory; Rather, he said, "Hopefully there will be a free and fair debate."

The US presidential election will be held in November. Donald Trump is competing as a candidate of the Republican Party in that election. On the other hand, Vice President Kamala Harris is now in the field as a candidate of the Democratic Party after President Joe Biden withdrew his candidacy.

When the debate is held on September 10, it will be the second presidential debate. The first debate took place on June 28. American media CNN was the organizer of that debate.
