Actress Jennifer Garner has lost a friend to the wildfires in Pacific Palisades, California. She shared the sad news in an interview with MSNBC.
“I lost a friend who couldn’t get out in time,” the actress said.
Garner, who has lived in the area for 25 years, expressed her feelings about the disaster in the area. She noted that many homes have burned down, including a church.
“My heart is bleeding for my friends. I can think of 100 families, and 5,000 homes have burned down... I can just write a list of 100 friends who have lost their homes,” she said.
She also added, “I feel guilty walking through my house. What can I do? How can I help? What can I give?”
