Motorcyclist killed, one injured after being hit by a bus in Kurigram
Md. Shamsul Alam (33), a motorcyclist was killed when he was hit by a bus in Kurigram. One person was injured. The name of the injured person is Md. Abul Kashem. He is a resident of Nazira Pachar Mosque village of Kurigram Municipal Council. The accident is said to be his two brothers.
The accident took place on the morning of Sunday, November 10, in the Pacha Mosque area of the Municipal Council.
According to the police and local residents, a SN Paribahan bus bound for Chilmari from Dhaka came to Nazira Pachar Mosque area of the city on Sunday morning. At that time, the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction
A banana tree lying on the side of the road ran under the bus while avoiding it. In the accident, the motorcycle overturned and driver Shamsul Alam was crushed under the wheel and died on the spot.
In this incident, the traffic on the road was stopped for some time, after the police came and removed the killer bus, the traffic returned to normal.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kurigram Sadar Police Station, Md. Nazmul Hossain confirmed the truth of the incident and said, "We are taking the full report. If no one has filed a complaint so far, necessary action will be taken."
