The girl's family is disappointed that a case was not registered at the Hatibandha police station after a seventh grade student was abducted in Hatibandha of Lalmonirhat on the afternoon of September 30.
It is known that Ishita Moni, daughter of Genarul Islam of Ward No. 9 of Gotamari Union of Hatibandha Upazila, was supposed to return home from school on September 30. But when he did not come home, the family members inquired and found that Hasan Ali, the son of Shahidul Islam of the same area, was kidnapped with the help of some friends. In this regard, Akter Hossain, the victim girl's grandfather, has given a written complaint to Hatibandha police station, accusing 5 people of being involved in the kidnapping. But even after almost 12 days, the family members are disappointed as the case has not been registered and they are going to different places. Meanwhile, the accused roamed the area openly, but the police did not take any action, so there is a mixed reaction in the area. In this regard, the victim plaintiff Akhter Hossain claims that even after 12 days of filing the case, we are not able to know that our daughter has been abducted or killed because no action has been taken by the police. He also said that if there is any harm to my daughter then the police will be responsible for it. Mahmudul Nabi, officer-in-charge of Hatibandha police station, said that if you tell me the duration of the case, arrangements will be made.
