Trying to rape a child by showing the lure of chocolate

In Chilmari of Kurigram, an allegation of attempted rape of a 5-year-old child has been found against a Raj Mistry named Md. Jelal (40) after being lured by chocolate. The victim's family has complained to the police station. The incident happened last Sunday (September 1) around 3:00 pm in Mzaidanga area of Thanahat union of the upazila. Currently, the child is under treatment at Upazila Health Complex.
Md. Jasim Uddin, UP member of Ward No. 3 of Thanahat Union, said, I advised to take the child to the hospital immediately after hearing the incident.
In this incident, the child's mother filed a complaint at the Chilmari Model Police Station.
According to the complaint, the child class student of Mazaidanga Government Primary School was playing and playing in the school grounds. At that time, the accused Jelal lured the child with biscuits and chocolates and tried to rape him by taking him to his house. At that time, when the child started screaming, Jelal ran away. Later, when the child went home and told the mother, he was quickly admitted to the Chilmari Health Complex.
Upazila Health Complex's resident doctor Abu Raihan said, "Initially, it seems that the child was tried to be raped. Currently, the child is physically healthy.
When contacted on the cell phone of the accused Jellal, his phone was found switched off. However, his elder brother Nazrul Islam, a school teacher, denied the allegations and said that the incident was staged. We are being systematically degraded.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chilmari Police Station Pran Krishna Debnath confirmed the fact of receiving the complaint and said that necessary measures will be taken after investigation.
